GuardEX Security Services works with residential properties, farms, community facilities, local businesses, and larger rural or suburban sites throughout Harlingen. Our role is to create clear, reliable coverage around the property’s real operating needs, not a one-size-fits-all package. Trained personnel, attentive supervision, and practical technology can be used individually or together, with duties, schedules, reporting, and escalation procedures established before service begins.
Local Protection
Harlingen includes residential properties, farms, community facilities, local businesses, and larger rural or suburban sites. GuardEX Security Services supports them with on-site officers, mobile patrols, off-site video monitoring, access control, and video systems designed around the property. The approach may be as simple as a staffed entrance or as layered as personnel, technology, and scheduled checks working together. We establish responsibilities, reporting, and escalation procedures in advance so managers have a plan that is straightforward to manage.
The Region

Harlingen is a historic village within Montgomery Township in southern Somerset County. The community lies along Harlingen Road in a landscape that still includes farms, wooded parcels, older homes, and newer residential neighborhoods. Its name is connected to the Van Harlingen family, among the early Dutch families associated with the area. Harlingen is not a separate municipality, and residents receive schools, public facilities, and local government services through Montgomery Township. Nearby roads connect the village with Belle Mead, Skillman, Blawenburg, Hillsborough, and Princeton. U.S. Route 206 provides the main regional corridor through the township, while smaller roads preserve the rural pattern that shaped the community’s early development. Open-space preservation and agricultural land continue to influence the character of this part of Montgomery. Although Harlingen has no large downtown, the village name remains familiar locally and identifies one of the historic settlements that existed long before the township’s modern suburban growth.
