The property mix in Landing includes lake-area properties, local businesses, residential communities, transportation-oriented sites, and recreational facilities. GuardEX Security Services builds coverage around how each location is used, with options that include armed or unarmed guards, mobile patrols, remote video monitoring, access control, and installed video systems. About Landing

Landing is a community within Roxbury Township at the southern end of Lake Hopatcong in western Morris County. Its location near the lake, the Musconetcong River, and historic transportation routes has shaped the area for generations. The community grew around canal, rail, and road connections serving Lake Hopatcong and nearby industrial centers. Today, Landing includes residential neighborhoods, waterfront properties, local businesses, recreation areas, and the Lake Hopatcong NJ Transit station. Interstate 80, Route 46, and local roads provide access to Dover, Mount Arlington, Netcong, and other parts of Morris and Sussex counties. Landing is one of six named communities in Roxbury Township and is not separately incorporated. Residents use township schools, parks, municipal facilities, and public services. The combination of lake views, wooded hills, older cottages, year-round homes, and regional transportation gives Landing a distinct identity within the broader Roxbury community.

Questions answered

FAQs

What information starts a Landing security assignment?
To begin a Landing assignment, the property provides its schedule, current concern, and responsible contacts. GuardEX looks at how people enter and where outdoor activity occurs. The final post lists the officer’s duties and the reporting required after each shift.
Can GuardEX cover apartments and businesses in Landing?
GuardEX can cover apartment buildings, commercial properties, or managed facilities in Landing. The post for marina and recreation properties may differ from one serving residential buildings. Service is based on the location’s hours, access points, and operating pattern.
When are patrol visits useful in Landing?
Patrol visits are useful in Landing when a site needs recurring outdoor checks without another continuous guard. The route can include doors, parking, and selected boundaries. Each visit is time-recorded for later review by the property team.
Can Landing properties document visitor access?
A Landing property can document visitor access through a GuardEX officer at the chosen lobby, gate, or service entrance. The building supplies verification rules. Exceptions are recorded and sent to management under the agreed contact process.
How is video used with guards in Landing?
GuardEX uses video in Landing as a supporting source of visibility. Cameras can show movement beyond the primary post and provide recorded context after an incident. Equipment operation and footage access remain under the property’s control.
