Local Protection
Changewater includes rural properties, local businesses, residences, work sites, and managed locations near the Musconetcong River, where larger lots, separated buildings, local roads, and lower-density surroundings can shape how a property is managed. GuardEX can provide armed or unarmed guards, mobile patrols, remote video monitoring, access control, and professionally installed video security systems. A site may need a visible on-site presence, scheduled checks, off-site camera oversight, or technology that helps manage everyday entry. The final plan reflects the property's hours, layout, activity, and management procedures, with clear reporting and escalation expectations.
The Region

Changewater is a historic locality on both sides of the Musconetcong River. New Jersey’s official locality directory places it in Lebanon Township, Hunterdon County and Washington Township, Warren County. It is not a separate municipality, and no single county-specific page accurately represents the entire community. Route 31 and Changewater Road provide the main regional connections. The river, rural roads, older homes, small businesses and nearby farm properties create a dispersed setting. The Changewater Road bridge also provides public fishing access to the Musconetcong. The locality has a long industrial history. Changewater Forge operated along the river by the mid-eighteenth century, although the forge no longer survives. Later road and rail connections linked the village with Washington, Hampton, Glen Gardner and other Musconetcong Valley communities. Modern Changewater remains small and rural. Its identity comes from the river crossing and historic place name rather than municipal boundaries.
